Preparations for the V International Ecological Forum “EcoForum-2021” are underway. The event will take place on September 14-16 at the Kozak Palace Exhibition Center.
The organizers – Zaporizhzhia City Council and Zaporizhzhya Chamber of Commerce and Industry – have prepared a rich business program with the participation of leading foreign and Ukrainian experts in the field of ecology. Specialized exhibitions “Energy Saving”, “ECO STORE EXPO” will work in the exhibition hall.
It is important that during the preparation and holding of the forum one of the main conditions was environmental responsibility. For the second time “EcoForum” – with the support of the Foundation. Heinrich Böll, Kyiv-Ukraine Bureau – is held in compliance with the principles of environmental event management. This means that the organizers pay special attention to what natural resources are used to ensure the event and how to make this use not harmful to the environment.
In particular:
power supply is partially provided by the operation of solar panels VC;
meals will be organized using only reusable utensils, without plastic. The menu will include vegetarian and seasonal dishes;
separate waste collection will be organized in the exhibition hall;
we choose environmentally friendly suppliers of goods and services.
Thus, the “Eco Forum” will not only be a platform for discussing the latest trends in environmental protection, but also provide an example of how to implement these trends.
