The Zaporizhzhia Chamber of Commerce and Industry has joined efforts to develop a strategy for the TISC network in Ukraine

Together with colleagues from across Ukraine, we are shaping a shared vision for the future development of the Technology and Innovation Support Centres (TISC) network. Experts from the Zaporizhzhia Chamber of Commerce and Industry recently took part in the final TISC strategic session in Ukraine, which brought to a close a series of regional sessions held in various regions of the country.

During the event, participants identified key challenges and needs, and developed priority areas for further development and enhanced cooperation between the Centres.

The session was attended by representatives of UKRNOIVI, including the TISC Head Office, as well as regional TISC Centres.

The events were held with the support of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and in cooperation with the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO). They served as an effective platform for open dialogue, the exchange of practical experience, the discussion of problematic issues, and the formulation of proposals to improve the activities of the TISC network in Ukraine.

Participants paid particular attention to identifying priority areas for disseminating knowledge in the field of intellectual property and ensuring that inventors, innovators and applicants have access to TISC services regardless of their location. In this context, key tasks include developing an innovation infrastructure and establishing a comprehensive support system for the Centres through the development of methodological guidelines, model contracts, practical manuals and other necessary tools.
