The Zaporizhzhia Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s experience in fostering effective collaboration between business and the scientific community was presented at the 3rd International Scientific and Practical Conference ‘Synergy of Science and Business – 2026’.
On 23 April, a session entitled ‘Technological Transformation of Business Ecosystems: Engineering Solutions, Digitalisation and Sustainable Development’ was held at Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University. The event brought together representatives from the academic community, business, government bodies and international partners. Among the participants were Ukrainian and international speakers who presented practical case studies, analytical approaches and experience of implementing innovations in various fields.
Discussions addressed topical issues such as the digital transformation of the economy, the implementation of engineering and management solutions, the development of partnerships between education and business, building trust in products, and the practical application of sustainable development principles. Particular attention was paid to the transformation of business ecosystems in the context of digitalisation and military challenges, the development of regional infrastructure to support entrepreneurship, and innovations in management and marketing.
Andriy Kuts, Vice-President of the Zaporizhzhia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, delivered a presentation on the topic:
‘Collaboration between business support organisations and educational institutions in the Zaporizhzhia region in the field of developing regional infrastructure to support entrepreneurship’.
Key highlights included the current areas of activity of the Zaporizhzhia Chamber of Commerce and Industry and examples of cooperation with the National University ‘Zaporizhzhia National University’,
which contribute to business development and the implementation of innovations.
The Zaporizhzhia Chamber of Commerce and Industry possesses significant expertise in the preparation and management of export activities, international cooperation, certification of the origin of goods and services, customs procedures, and the establishment of partnerships—areas that are critical to the development of entrepreneurship.
The knowledge and experience of the ZCCI’s expert team, combined with an extensive network of partnerships, form the basis for joint projects with Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University and the Zaporizhzhia IAM Cluster. These joint initiatives include the European Digital Innovation Hub, the Science Park and other projects.
