“Wartime Management Consulting: Insights and Lessons” was the title of the next conference of the CMC-Ukraine community, of which the Zaporizhzhia Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a full member.
During the event, Vice President of the Zaporizhzhia Chamber of Commerce and Industry Andriy Kuts successfully passed the public recertification procedure for obtaining the status of Certified Management Consultant (CMC). The Association’s standards provide for periodic confirmation of qualifications by consultants.
Mr. Andriy presented the case “Facilitation of the development and growth of the Public Union “Cluster Engineering. Automation. Mechanical Engineering””.
The Chamber is one of the founders of the Zaporizhzhia Cluster “Engineering-Automation-Mechanical Engineering”. Today, the association of entrepreneurs is actively working, rallying around common tasks. All activities are aimed at supporting the stability of business during martial law and expanding its access to Ukrainian and foreign markets.
The case was highly appreciated by assessors Olga Trofimova and Elvira Faizullina.
“I am grateful to the entire CMC community. I understand that professional growth is impossible without the support of colleagues. Thank you that we are always in touch, that there is an opportunity to get advice from colleagues from other areas of activity. I am proud of my membership in the Association,” said certified management consultant Andriy Kuts in his closing remarks.
Also during the conference, the leading expert on foreign economic activity of the Zaporizhzhia Chamber of Commerce, certified management consultant CMC Olga Shcholkina shared her vision of the development of the profession during the war and presented a case study of work with the company “Alexia”, which moved from the Kharkiv region to the Rivne region:
“In four weeks — a new location, registration, restart of production, new contracts. Everything — in the “here and now” mode. And with incredible trust in each other.
…Not only approaches changed — we ourselves changed.
These were not only projects. These were stories of survival, adaptation, and sometimes — revival.
We became anti-crisis coordinators. Mediators between business and government. Grant managers. Support coaches,” says Ms. Olga.
“Breakthrough projects today require more than just expertise from management consultants. The consultant’s personality, his background, the ability to build partnerships, involve colleagues, influence stakeholders and beneficiaries — these are key tools.
Role management, adherence to ethics in dealing with challenges, responsibility — all this has become the subject of professional research and discussion.
Congratulations to Andriy Kuts on confirming the status of CMC! We express our respect and gratitude to the team of the Zaporizhzhia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which is represented in CMC-Ukraine by three powerful certified management consultants — Andriy Kuts, Ksenia Nagornaya and Olga Shchelkina,” the official page of CMC-Ukraine states.
The Zaporizhzhia Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been a full member of the Association of Management Consultants (CMC-Ukraine) since 2021. Experts from the Zaporizhzhia CCI work together with the CMC-Ukraine team as business consultants, helping Ukrainian companies overcome the challenges of wartime and adapt production to European requirements.
We are proud to be part of a community that adheres to high international consulting standards, is a member of the International Management Consulting Institute ICMCI — CMC-Global, which unites certified management consultants from different countries.
We thank Olga Trofimova, President of the All-Ukrainian Association of Management Consultants “CMC-Ukraine”, all mentors and colleagues for their effective work together!
