The President of the Zaporizhzhia Chamber of Commerce and Industry Volodymyr Shamilov took part in the meeting of the Presidium of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine, which was held on August 26, 2025.
The results of the work of the chamber system for the quarter were summarized and decisions and plans for the fall were approved.
“The Chamber has been uniting businesses for over 175 years of its work in Ukraine. The survival of business is now the main goal of the chamber system. We are included in all processes at the expert and state levels that relate to the formation of conditions for simplifying business activities in Ukraine. So that investments come into the country, to reconstruction. Today we discussed and approved some of the legislative initiatives that our experts are working on,” emphasized G. Chyzhykov, President of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Among the decisions adopted by the participants of the Presidium:
appointment of new representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry abroad;
plan of international business events;
expert support of legislative initiatives in which the Chamber works with specialized departments and ministries;
approval of the Certificate of Origin of Goods U-1: a document that officially confirms the origin of goods.
The Presidium also agreed to hold a number of events for business within the framework of the 175th anniversary of the chamber system in Ukraine.
