Business tour to Estonia: new opportunities for Zaporizhia exporters

The Zaporizhzhia Chamber of Commerce and Industry helps Zaporizhzhia exporters to develop new markets for their products. The leading expert on foreign economic activity of the Zaporizhzhia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Olga Shcholkina, took part in the business tour of the Ukrainian delegation to Estonia, which took place on August 18-20, 2025 as part of the international Export Alliance Mastery program. Also among the participants were representatives of companies that are members of the Zaporizhzhia CCI.

The tour program included visits to leading Estonian enterprises, which today can become promising partners for Zaporizhzhia business.

Estonian companies we met:

ESTANC – a partner in the supply of static technological equipment for various industries;
Trinidad Wiseman – a digital transformation and service design company that creates e-services for public and private clients;
Sanitex – the largest distribution and logistics company in the Baltics;
Tanel Veenre is a designer brand of clothing and jewelry, focused on export;
Digital Logistics Center is a center for digital transformation of logistics and freight transportation;
Metaprint is a manufacturer of aerosol containers;
JOIK is a brand of natural cosmetics.
As part of the visit, the participants also met with Doris Pjold, CEO of ITL and Vice President of DIGITALEUROPE. The topic of discussion was the prospects for the integration of Ukrainian companies into the European digital space.

Why Estonia?

Estonia is one of the smallest, but at the same time the most dynamic economies in the EU, known for its high level of digitalization and close ties with the Baltic and Scandinavian countries. It has a developed business support infrastructure, and local companies are successfully scaling innovative products to international markets. The most promising areas of cooperation for Zaporizhzhia enterprises are digital technologies, logistics, distribution, and production.

The next step is export strategies for Zaporizhzhia businesses

As a reminder, a team of experts from the Zaporizhzhia Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been participating in the Export Alliance Mastery program for almost a year. The initiative is designed to strengthen the ability of Ukrainian business support organizations to assist local businesses in their efforts to enter international markets.

During this time, our experts participated in seven training modules:

Export market research and organizational team dynamics.
Market entry strategies and organizational planning.
Digital tools and service portfolio development.
Product adaptation and workflow optimization.
Marketing and sales of BSO services.
Supply chain and online marketing.
Customer acquisition and relationship management.
Among the practical measures that the Zaporizhzhia CCI team has already implemented while working with Zaporizhzhia companies: development of export plans, marketing research, recommendations for product adaptation for entering foreign markets, website improvement for export, etc.

Today, cooperation continues with the development of export strategies for companies in the Zaporizhzhia region that seek to enter international markets.
