V International Zaporizhzhia Environmental Forum “Eco Forum – 2021” will be held at the Kozak Palace (Zaporizhzhia) from 14 to 16 September 2021.
For the fifth year in a row, the event will be the most significant international platform in southeastern Ukraine to share the experience of top experts in improving the environmental situation at the state and regional levels, environmental protection in enterprises, organizations, and everyday life.
The cross-cutting issue of this year’s forum is the European Green Deal, which envisages the decarbonization of the EU economy by 2050. Thus, the plenary part “European Green Deal: Opportunities and Implications for Ukraine” will occur within the event’s framework.
Given the significant relevance of this topic of the forum and the active position of the United Kingdom in addressing climate issues in the run-up to the UN Climate Summit in Glasgow, we ask you to involve a representative of the Embassy to participate in the forum as a speaker. The proposed topic for coverage – problems and expectations before the World Climate Forum. We will also be very grateful to you for the involvement of experts on climate change in your country.
We are confident that cooperation in carrying out such events will contribute to the intensification of essential steps to preserve the environment at all levels and the formation of a new sustainable development economy in Ukraine.
